How easy is it to get into a university after one year of community college?

My teacher's son got into UCLA after two years of a community college, but to be honest your question is vague. You do not tell us your high school or CC grades, or which college you are trying to apply to. Obvious the community college will help, but how much depends on what school and your current grades.
