Is it illegal in any regard to actually look for Snuff Films?

I'm watching 8MM right now and I'm curious if I person can get into any legal trouble if they were to say go digging around on the internet for an actual Snuff Film? I'm guessing you should be more concerned with the people that are probably involved with them then the law.
