Was he jealous??????????????

So I have a friend, he's a guy, but not a boyfriend. So when I was dating someone I was excited and the first thing I wanted to do was introduce him to my friends. We were all going to watch a football game and my boyfriend was coming (This was about 9 months ago but it keeps eating at me) My friend kept telling me (even though he had never met him) that he sounded like he wasn't good for me and that he would break my heart. I was upset and everyone kept teasing him that he was jealous. When I asked him if he was jealous he would just say, 'Him? Oh no he seams like a reeaall cool dude." but it was sarcastic. Now I like him so it keeps bugging at me if he was jealous or not. Please help and tell me what I should do!
