Only the most powerful nations brought christianity to the world?

the major conquering empires of the world brought out christianity and snuffed out all old religions like a candle. just like they destroyed most of the old world, for example, the native americans, the africans. they did it by force and lies. what do you think? christianity: the end of all humanity? i doubt there were wars between native people before we came in and swooped them out from under the carpet.
