Do I have a good sound system in my truck?

The previous owner of my truck replaced the door speakers with toxik door speakers and a couple 12'' kenwood subs.. It sounds alright, but when i crank it up it the subwoofers get pretty washy. The box sits under the back seat.. 2005 dodge ram 1500 ext. cab.. Would a larger amp make my subs sound better?

Thoughts on a piece I wrote for my English class?

very good, but after one read its seems more descriptive of her environment than of her character and when you have to start talking abt her character with "julia was an intuitive girl...." it seems very blunt and in complete contrast to the description of her environment which flows like water. you are very good at description of the surroundings, use that to bring out the character. the character development seems very blocky, merge it with the rest of the text. when u describe the grass or the bushes bring out her thoughts abt how she believes there are secrets hidden behind them, in them/it and how when the wind blew she wanted to follow it to see where it went to see perchance where it began,< this is just a crude example to describe her curious character, her determination, start it off smoothly, ease into the character. ( i hope this helps somehow, i would want to read further)

yes. i was introduced to the statler brothers through a grotesque and violent game but now all i listen to is them. everyone else it seams, is listening to modern rock and heavy metal, pop, and jazz. no one listens to what i listen to anymore. i feel like im cast out from this generation, i havent heard any of the newest songs to come out. Spilled soda on wire?

After years of use, my laptop charger (Toshiba brand) has begun to fray near where it connects to the laptop. I ordered a new one yesterday but it will take 10-14 business days to get here. Tonight my cat was sleeping on the desk next to my soda while I was on the computer and it spilled. The only part of the computer it touched was the few wires sticking out of the charger, it just splashed them. 38 Weeks Pregnant with sharp pains?

As of today I am 38 weeks pregnant. Last week my doctor said I "seamed to be" 1 cm dilated. Last night when I went to change for bed I got a severe pain right below my belly (kinda like where you would get cramps from your period). When I lay down, sit down, or just stand somewhere, I feel a lot of pressure and every so often weird vibrations traveling through my vaginal cavity. When I walk or bend over, even bend my knees down from a standing position or sit on the toilet, the pain i'm getting gets worse. Oddly, if I pee and kinda "push" I feel slight relief. I called my doctor and she said that I either pulled a muscle or i'm in labor but not to come in until i'm getting "unbearable pain every five minutes". I just turned 15 almost 3 months ago. I am 6"0 150lbs. I throw a 2 seam, knucklecurve, splitter, and fosh change up. Im not very strong when it comes to weight lifting so I get all my velocity from my mechanics which I have been working on for 6 or 7 years. I have been doing band work for 3 years routinely to protect my rotator cuff but that's about all the work outs i have done in the past. I have been starting some core, forearm, and leg workouts which I will continue on and will get even tougher in the winter which is my off season (i play spring, summer, and fall ball). So any tips or anything will help I want to get my fast ball up to 90 by the time I'm 17. I plan to play collage ball and maybe go further if I'm lucky.

SIMS 3: Save sim family to install on another laptop?

The USB is the way to go. What you want to do is go to your start button on your computer and go to all programs, locate the EA folder where your Sims program is located. Insert the USB drive into the USB port and wait for the option to "view contents of folder" have that window handy. Go back to the EA folder and locate your Sims 3 folder and there is where your saves and family information should be. Right click on this folder and select "copy". Once done with that click on the USB folder again which should be empty because the Sims 3 file information is probably large, right click the empty space and select the option "paste" this should paste your copy of your Sims 3 folder onto the USB. Safely remove the USB and then plug it into the USB port on your new laptop. Go to the EA folder and the Sims 3 section on your new laptop and copy and paste your family information into that folder. So me and my sisters go outside and play with Our friend I'm 12 my sister is 9 and my other sister is 6 an our friend is 10....so here's my story....we were throwing water at cars that pass by (she wanted to throw water at cars) and I said "thats mean..but ok" so we were throwing water and having fun and laughing and then the water was all out so I got more water from her hose and then she went on her mo-ped and started riding it and I said come on let's play!! I thought you wanted to throw water!!!? She kept ignoring me and laughing while my other sisters were riding the scooter and skateboard ...then she took the bucket of water and put it in her mo-ped and she said she was going to fill it up and then she went and she spilled it all out then I took it from her and went to fill it up again then she ran to the hose and said don't use the water I was like why and she said it will waste our money and Then I used the water again and then she went inside her house to tell on me I opened the door to her house and she was saying that I was using her water to her moms boyfriend (first of all,, why was she telling him??) I said that it was just water and then I said the water is still in the bucket u can go get it and then her mom came and said it's fine after that I closed the door and then I said to my sisters come on let's go and they didnt listen to me they said no and then after 3 minutes she came out and shes all angry and she said let's play wallball to my other sisters and they said ok and I said I want to be first place and our friend says no I am then i said come on let's leave to my sisters ..they didn't listen to me so I took the ball and she said fine I'll get my ball and then she came and started playing and she says I'm a bad influence to my sisters because I did prank calls and stuff. My sisters were listening to her and not me. She says she only knocks on our door to play with our sisters and not me. She is really mean and I hate her . Ugh

Horse Jumping and Trouble With Trainer. Help!?

So I lease every Sunday with my nest friend and I ride the most awesome horse (I have my own horses at my dads house, not my moms) and I'm with my mom but she doesn't see this. I do pony club with my horse, Sierra, nut she is my the greatest jumper. So one tme after pony club, I wanted a little more practice and there was a 2'8 jump set up (I can jump it my Sierra-little did I know- can't. So I went to jump it and she refused. I let her snuff it and stuff and tried again 4 more time. Refusal after refusal. So I tried again and she went over, but I wasn't ready for her to actually do it so I fell onto her neck and before I knew if she was scrambling. At first, I thought it was because I was .cloning on top of her neck like a maniac. Then I realized she was half way over the jump (I don't kno if her hooves were on the ground or not) and she scrambles backwards our of the jump, bringing it down. Then she stopped but I was still on her neck but she was chill. That's how I kno she didn't freak cuz I was on her neck. Don't worry, she is completely sound and wasn't hurt a bit. I am just wondering what happened? Did she freak and stop the jump cuz me landing on her neck startled her? Anyway, my best friend was there and saw the whole thing. She was telling me before I tried jumping it "No! Sierra isn't ready for it!" I ignored her though...(Sierra is about 15.1-15.2) I think she meant she thought Sierra just wasn't experienced enough. I slid back Sierra neck onto the saddle and then got off. BTW, the pony club instructor was there the entire time and saw the whole thing. So that was last Sunday. Now its Wednesday. OCD with my clothes??? helpp!?

I really feel like i have ocd with my clothing and the clothing that i buy. Whenever i go shopping and buy a clothing item i have to make sure that the stitching and seams are all even and that everything about it feels even when i wear it. when i put on pants i have to make sure that one pant leg is not tighter or loser than the other and same with shorts and jeans. and with shirts if one sleeve is tighter than the other . I just have to make sure everything about the item is made evenly . In the stores i try on the more than one of the same item of the same size just to see which one feels the most even. if i buy something and found out it feels uneven to me when i go home i wont stop thinking about it and i will keep trying it on and will literaly keep thinking about it everytime i wear it of how uneven it feels. When i own clothing that feels uneven to me i will get soooo fustrated about it and will be so upset. I willl keep thinking about it days on end and sometimes i will just keep the clothing in the shopping bags bc i dont even want to wear it bc of how fustrated i am with how uneven it feels. Very nice poem Sue.I could picture the frenzy of the dogs as you came home. Poor Lucy lost patience and had to exert herself as Alpha dog, it seems. Age sometimes being impatient with youth. I would say try going for it again! Is it a good idea to get kittens used to dogs?

No it's good for them to be socialized with dogs. As long as it's supervised so the dog don't get too excited and accidently hurt one of them. It's alot easier to find them there forever homes when there ready if they have been socialized with dogs, kids and other cats. Then it's not so traumatizing on the kitty in the future

Depends on how it was made up to begin with -- generally this is done as if the fleece were an underlining, which means you may well have to completely sew the jeans again once you've removed the underlining. Chances are, this is going to be more trouble than it's worth.

Try some Dramamine. Yes, it's for motion sickness, but it could help. Also, when people are scared of something, it often helps to distract your mind from what's scaring you like watching a movie, listening to music, listening to an audio book, etc. If you're distracted enough and not thinking about what's scaring you, you should be fine. If you have an iPod, iPhone, portable dvd player, cd player, etc. Will being distracted completely "cure" you over your fear? No. I'm not saying you have a phobia of flying because you have flown several times in the past, but with phobias all fear is learned. If you're desperate, you could try hypnosis. Personally, I'm not one who believes in hypnosis, but if it helps you, then so be it. I personally think that trying to distract yourself is the best thing that you can do on any flight. Sleeping pills could also help.

Balsamic reduction sauce?

First, I am a hack in the kitchen but really enjoy listening to those at my table moan with pleasure as they eat my food. With that said...I have a question about making a balsamic vinegar reduction sauce. Most instructions I have read tells me to reduce by half. How can you tell you are there with out measuring ? No more than someone who didn't have them. As someone who has used snuff for many years, I would say to be more concerned with tooth decay and gum disease. Basically, make sure you brush your teeth and try to use mouthwash as least once a week to help prevent dental issues. Pharmaceutical companies and the doctors who are in bed with them want us to believe that one in three people will have cancer at some point in their lives. This is an absolutely ridiculous number that makes no logical sense. It's a crap shoot. Yes, some things MAY make you more prone to cancer, but even that's unknown. Doctors and scientists make assumptions based on observations made on rats in a lab somewhere, but even they will admit that they don't know for sure. Not every rat that they subject to tobacco products gets cancer so they really don't know for sure. It's a personal choice that you have to make for yourself. Just don't be scared by a bunch of over-hyped nonsense. Do some research and know the reality of cancer.

Stop playing mind games with her. The only way you'll know for sure whether to completely throw in the towel is if she TRULY knows how you feel. She may not be interested in you, which may be why she told you she didn't want a relationship, but the the only way to get to the bottom of it and to get past all the games is to put the truth out there. That's called "putting the ball in her court". After that, just give her a couple of days and she how she acts...See if she seems to want to still talk to you, or if your news just scared her...Either way, it will show her true feelings. However: It sounds like she's constantly surrounded by guys who are interested in her. Why does a rabbit stand in there food?

I've had my Minnie Lop eared rabbit for about 1 1/2 months. I have a Male and a female and they're both sweet. But for some reason they always stand in their food and knock the dish over! How long can liquid be stored in your computer?

I have a macbook, and somehow I woke up and the screen was cracked I dont remember cracking it but it was on my couch, and when i was about to go to sleep I closed it, but the screen was black when I did so I didnt see the damage until the morning after. Anyways I took my laptop to get repaired at the Apple Store, and now they are telling me that there is liquid in my computer, and want to charge even more money to get it repaired, but it was working absolutley fine before I sent it to be repaired, and I dont remember ever spilling anything on it. But even if a couple of drops were spilled on it, wouldn't it have dried , and the laptop just be damaged by now? How bad could the liquid spill be if it was funtional before the cracked screen? Mind you, it has been in Apple repair for over a week, and now they are finding liquid. I do not know much about computers but it sounds like a ton of bullshit to me, and its a lot of money. So to sum up my question... Is it possible that someone there could have spilled liquid on my laptop and are expecting me to pay for it? Or could they be lying? Or am I just being cheap and paranoid? Also, a lot of young kids growing up are very impressionable and they wind up dipping because all of their favorite players dip. It's a terrible influence on kids, and also it's nasty to always watch them with dips and spitting. If the players want to dip outside of the ballpark, that's their own business, but it should be banned in the clubhouse and on the field. Like I said, it's already banned in the minors and college, so why should the major league guys be able to do it?

3MONTHS..WHYY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!…

So me and my 2 years ex split up 3months ago rather suddenly and it spilled over quite a long time which left me feeling awful and really down..i picked my self up and really started being okay again! Serger: constantly rethreading the bottom looper!?

I am very very new to serging, I have a used Kenmore and everything was going great. Then my 2 year old daughter got her hands on it while I was at work, pulled off the tension knobs and broke some of the thread. I rethreaded the whole machine, I've replaced the knobs and tinkered with the tension so the stitches come out beautiful again. My problem is that I sew a seam, stop, cut the thread, then when I go to sew the second seam, the last part of the bottom looper is unthreaded again!! Help me please!!!!!!!!!!
